The birth of MARA
Mara was born in February 2025 and has an older sister Nature'attitude born in 2017.
It's 2 co-founders, Shamia and Nathalie, are of Malagasy origin with a Cosmopolitan vision.
Mara promotes Malagasy craftsmanship while using high European quality standards.
Mara collaborates with Malagasy associations that promote reforestation.

Our Artisanal cooperative
Mara is a Malagasy cooperative that promote a respectful and pleasant work environment for our artisans.
We employ twenty weavers that we trained for a minimum of 3 months.
Stitch regularity, quality control and fair remuneration are the secret to our consistant high quality products.

Our range, our style
With around twenty references, our range is deliberately limited to ensure quality and customer service.
The lines are minimalistic and slightly curved. Ecrus and browns are the two main colours. Gold, indigo, ash and other shades are used as an additional touch.
Certain models can be customised upon request.
